Brand Manager

One of Britain's largest branded food producers is seeking a commercially aware, consumer focused Brand Manager to drive forward the marketing plan for a fantastic and well-established FMCG brand.

Reporting to the Marketing Controller, you'll enjoy a high profile position within the Brand Team. Indeed, you’ll have responsibility for managing and executing both NPD & EPD. Accordingly it represents an outstanding opportunity to add even more strings to your brand management career bow.

Key responsibilities

• Working with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, manage brand performance and the consumer marketing spend
• Presenting plans and gaining internal alignment with key stakeholders
• Implementing an in year marketing plan
• Getting involved in ATL development and BTL activity and managing PR and digital agencies and
• Acting as the ambassador and key day-to-day contact for the brand and sub-brands
• Managing P&L; monitoring and analysing external business performance; managing projects through the stakeholder approval process and coordinating brand communication materials.

You’ll need to be able to demonstrate solid brand marketing experience with strong consumer orientation, balanced, excellent consumer commercial awareness and a “can do” attitude. A superb platform to implement your skills and experience on a big and challenging brand, it also offers scope for long term development.

As at home working through plans with factories as you are liaising with PR and digital agencies, you also have what it takes to help develop ATL activities and a long term NPD pipeline. Our client is also looking for an exceptional communicator with strong presentation skills, the passion and drive to succeed and a willingness to travel in order to ‘get the job done’.
