Procurement Manager - IT

My client is a global FMCG brand, with an unrivalled reputation for innovation and quality.  They are recruiting for an IT Procurement Manager at present, to be based in Hampshire as part of their exciting transformation of their Procurement brand. 

The role has been created to review how the UK and EMEA regions buy and manage the supply chain and IT - the UK has not historically been involved in procurement of IT, so this is a big opportunity to get right. 

The role will look to review the existing supply chain for buying IT from an end to end point of view.  You will develop a range of options, costs and benefits for effective management of IT Hardware and Software including a well developed recommendation.  You will seek buy-in and approval from both the Purchasing Director and the IT Director and create an IT Strategic Sourcing category plan for the UK and EMEA. 

As this is a new opportunity, and one where you'll be given autonomy to develop a new strategy from scratch, it is essential that candidates applying have a wealth of IT Procurement experience.  Candidates must also be degree educated, passionate, engaging and have experience of creating high quality recommendations and presentations based on robust analysis. 

The position is looking to pay up to £45,000 + bonus + excellent company benefits.
