Who we are looking for

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an International Sales Country Manager to join the International Sales team.  Reporting to the International Sales Director, the main purpose of this new role is to develop sales of Charles Wells brands across a network of regional distributors / importers within nominated international markets.

As the International Sales Country Manager, you will identify key On / Off Trade outlets for Charles Wells brands within these international markets. You will develop relationships with the distributors / importers network of key customers and obtain listings and supply via the appointed local distributor through successful executed marketing campaigns within the local markets.

The successful candidate will have broad industry knowledge with an understanding of conversational and written languages. You will be qualified to degree or A levels.

The responsibilities will include:

  • In conjunction with the appointed Importer, indentify a national network of distributors that will work in partnership with us to supply On Trade & Off trade outlets.
  • To establish Wells and Young’s draught and packaged beers within these indentified On Trade and Off Trade outlets via the appointed network of distributors.
  • To work jointly with each appointed distributor and its sales teams to understand customer needs and convert into new accounts / listings and then develop sales via a dedicated support programme.
  • To develop an accurate forecasting process for Importer and Charles Wells internal departments to follow and implement.
  • To ensure that W&Y’s profit is maximised by following a defined pricing and margin policy.
  • To ensure that all marketing and TS costs are controlled within the set market budgetary limits.
  • To manage the supply route of all W&Y’s beers within markets in conjunction with the W&Y’s Logistics Manager and Planning team.

You will be well organised, able to negotiate and present at director and outlet buyer level and focused on achievement.
