What the job entails.
As the successful National Account Manager you will be responsible for developing and delivering a business strategy within our clients existing customer base across the brand portfolio which delivers long term sustainable profitable growth. Whilst ensuring that the customer base is grown to extend and promote the business across the on-trade channel. As the National Account Manager you will be expected to build relationships with the key trading team contacts across the channel and utilise these relationships to influence decisions being made in the Drinks categories. You will manage all Route to Market, National & Free trade accounts to deliver the on-trade plan whilst developing and maintaining effective customer relationships at all levels.

This is a very autonomous role which provides the opportunity to develop your career across various accounts and brands, with genuine progression on offer.

The successful National Account Manager will have:

    • Current experience in one of the following roles: Customer Business Manager, National Account Manager, Customer Account Manager, Senior National Account Manager or equivalent.
    • Experience within a Branded/Blue Chip FMCG organisation
    • Experience managing on trade accounts is a MUST!
    • Previous/current experience of building new senior level relationships within complex and tough trading environments.
    • Preferably be degree educated or equivalent
    • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking

Our client is looking to pay between to £45,000 - £55,000 (may stretch for the right person) + bonus + company car + pension + healthcare + other company benefits

This is a home based opportunity, maximum of once a week in the head office in West London.
