Our client is currently looking for an ambitious, passionate, motivated, commercially driven, creative and highly intelligent tier 1 candidate to join their rapidly growing business. My client is a very consumer driven business and a very well known, unique business within FMCG. This is a 12 month, fixed term contract role to begin with.  

 

 

THE COMPANY 

 

My client is a rapidly growing business within FMCG that in the last few years have grown from a local operation to considerable turn over across the UK and USA. They are a creative, entrepreneurial, sociable/fun yet demanding business that, through their unique model, has become a very well known brand to consumers across various demographics. 

 

 

THE ROLE 

 

In order to build an even stronger and more effective, brand building continues to become an ever more central business priority for my client. They are looking for a talented individual to help transform them from a strong, seemingly small (although very well known) player into the leading brand in their category.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Owning the positioning for the brand
  • Lead brand ATL campaign development
  • Work in close partnership with the internal communications team and other marketing functions to prioritise which areas should be focussed on and allocate overall resources to deliver the brand plan
  • Prioritising, organising and leading projects that will help identify and unlock barriers to market penetration 
  • Tracking and reporting key brand metrics vs targets. Representing these and their implications to other teams around the business and to the management team 
  • Listening to customers and intimately understanding how you and your team can meet their needs.

THE PERSON 

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • A proven track record at running ATL Campaigns that have had to deliver disproportionate impact in relation to budget
  •  Ability to both translate and understand consumer data and insights and able to use that to create/execute/influence strategy through clear communication 
  • Experience in a retail and/or consumer business is essential – ideally from an FMCG or Tech background
  • Entrepreneurial spirit is a must and my client needs dynamic, passionate, energetic, intelligent candidates that can manage stakeholders up to C level with the strength to push back and voice your opinions
  • Ability to thrive in a high paced and high pressurised environment
  • Experience in driving change and adding value across the full marketing mix 
  • You must be able to think big – understand your role and other functions/departments and how what you do effects the wider business
  • Top class degree or higher educated or relevant skill sets as a minimum.
