Job Details
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior National Account Manager to lead a team of NAM’s on the discount channel. This is the 2nd largest channel for the business.
Main responsibilities will be to lead a team, maximising sales & profit and managing the P&L, and JBP construction:
• Developing an understanding of customer strategies and objectives
• Building an annual plan that reflects the customer and category objectives
• Managing and developing relationships to drive growth and maximise on opportunities
• Driving and developing planning and implementation of promotional plans, new listings, range and space as required by the account plan
• Having a strong level of Category Management expertise
Previous experience in Senior National Account Management, ideally with a team within FMCG sector, ideally food but this is not essential. Strong gravitas, commercial awareness and leadership will need to be demonstrated. A high level of strategic thinking is also needed for this role.
