In a nutshell

A buying role in a key category in Packaged Foods offering a salary of up to £50,000 and the opportunity to earn up to 20% bonus plus additional benefits.

What I need to do

• Manage the P&L for a defined buying area
• Deliver a customer facing offer balancing range, price and promotion
• Deliver optimum costs through negotiation, tenders, global sourcing and value chain analysis
• Manage a complex variety of supplier relationships
• Design, deliver and monitor supplier plans with key suppliers
• Work cross functionally on shared accountabilities with supply chain, category planning, business planning, own brand and technical colleagues
• Gather and analyse market intelligence
