Key Accountabilities
To undertake/advise on all disciplinary proceedings up to written warning stage ensuring proceedings are carried out in a timely manner and all documentation, statements, notes of disciplinary and letters of confirmation of out come are logged and filed accordingly. To advise managers and staff on employment law matters and best practice. To monitor long-term sickness and take appropriate actions. To be responsible for factory recruitment process including interview and selection, arranging induction programme and all associated paperwork. Thoroughly check and ensure that all employees passports/documentation are in order and the correct paperwork is available for immigration purposes. Preparing weekly and monthly management reports Updating and development of Company policies and procedures. Support and assist the L&D Function in the development and delivery of training initiatives in HR related topics. Evaluate training given through audit, and coaching & mentoring managers and supervisors to enable them to manage HR issues themselves. Plan, organise and deliver employee training workshops ensuring employees understand and abide by company rules and procedures. To undertake other ad hoc duties and special projects.

Skills & Experience
Minimum of 2 years experience in a generalist HR role. CIPD qualified or equivalent degree desirable. Broad working knowledge of current employment legislation and best practice. Experience of Recruitment Selection processes. Experience of delivering training courses on HR related topics. Excellent verbal and written communications skills High standard of computer literacy proficient in MS Word, excel spreadsheets and Powerpoint. Diplomatic and able to handle confidential issues Patient and tolerant when dealing with staff from a wide range of diverse cultures and ethnicity.
