We are currently recruiting for a Business Management Accountant to join our team in Bristol. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, developing and driving profitable growth of Coop Soup & Sauce, Coop Quiche and Budgens business. This will be achieved through identifying, anticipating and satisfying customer's requirements efficiently and profitably.

Key Accountabilities

• Establish, maintain and develop working long term relationships with key customers (both internal and external), establishing and maintaining strong contact with key personnel.
• Constant review of the market place with particular emphasis on the environmental trends, customer issues as well as competitor actions and/or re-actions.
• Communication of sales/marketing/development issues to all company employees, as appropriate within the site.
• Grow sales in line with company plans and targets whilst ensuring margins in line with profit aspirations, and budgets are achieved.
• Plan, develop and implement delivery plans to ensure budgeted targets are surpassed and stretched targets achieved.
• To ensure that business 'opportunities' for the site are facilitated and co-coordinated.
• To fully support and deliver to all levels of our business effective communications, both written and verbal.

Skills & Experience

• Degree (or equivalent standard).
• Knowledge of the UK grocery trade with experience of FMCG/Consumer durables.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
• Knowledge and experience of category management.
• Experience of both brand and own label account management.
• Ability to formulate persuasive selling positions.
• Ability to analyze data and identify drivers, trends and opportunities.
• Ability to demonstrate category and consumer rationales of solutions tailored to specific retailers.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage and coordinate projects.
