A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a leading, branded ambient foods business who supply a range of snacking products to the retail channel. With a currently turnover in excess of £60m, the business have experienced huge success in recent years, with average year on year growth of 20%. They have recently invested heavily in their commercial department and are continuing to grow their team to build on their continued growth. As a result, they are looking to add a National Account Manager to their team.

As National Account Manager, you will take responsibility for the Aldi and Lidl accounts worth c. £5m. As these are relatively new accounts, there is a lot of growth potential. You will be responsible for maximising sales and profitability for these important accounts and really utilize your commercial awareness to increase these accounts. You will report directly into the Senior National Account Manager and play a key role in the company’s ambitious growth plans for the future. Should you be successful in the role, you will have the opportunity to progress to Senior National Account Manager in the future.

To be considered for this opportunity, it is vital you have experiencing managing an Aldi or Lidl account. You must be commercially astute and have strong numerical skills. You must be self-motivated, driven and want to play a key role in an entrepreneurial, fast paced business. This is a great opportunity for a National Account Executive looking for a step up or someone who has been a National Account Manager for a short period. Any good background would be considered and experience working with branded products is not essential but would be preferred.
