Who are we looking for

An opportunity to join the Free Trade team within Wells & Young’s has arisen.  You will be responsible for maintaining and driving Wells & Young’s branded presence within the South through effective strategies, influence and communication.

As a key role within the Free Trade sales team you will be responsible for Free Trade and wholesale routes to market within the South Division both directly and indirectly.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing the performance of the field sales team and their achievement of objectives, through effective targeting and the company’s appraisal system.
  • Ensuring all areas of expenditure is controlled and remains within budget.
  • Managing and influencing Free Trade, wholesale and regional brewers in the South.
  • Driving depth and breadth of W&Y product distribution through the most effective Route to Market.

You will have experience of managing a range of free trade customers and be able to demonstrate evidence of success in achieving stretching sales targets and gaining profitable new business. You will be strong, positive and vibrant and you will play a key role in developing sales and relationships.

To succeed in this role you will need to be self motivated with high standards and high expectations from your team.  Strong commercial acumen essential.  You should have at least 2 years successful man management experience, preferably within sales, and at least 3 years sales experience. You must be able to demonstrate a track record of success and a good knowledge of the sales process.

This is a field based role and the successful applicant must live in the territory of South of the Midlands.
