Job Details

My client is one of the UK’s leading producers of Branded and customer Own Label Frozen meals, supplying all of the UK’s major Retailers and Foodservice businesses. They possess a number of iconic brands and multi award winning products and are now looking to strengthen the team within one of their major business units.

They are currently looking for a Senior National Account Manager to look after their range of frozen branded and own label ranges into ASDA and Morrison's. This is obviously a sizeable amount of business for my client and so experience of managing very high value relationships into Top 4 Grocery Retail is essential. You will also be required to help and develop the company’s business with other top 4 retailers, as well as play and active role in assisting the Commercial Director and Account Controller's in developing the sales strategy for the division.

The successful applicant will be from a frozen or chilled food background, ideally but not essentially with knowledge of ready meals, with recent experience of managing an ASDA or Morrison's account. Knowledge of working with other top 4 retailers would be a distinct advantage as well. You must be driven and be able to work within a fast moving environment, able to react quickly to changing demands of customers with a keen eye for detail. Above all my client is looking for energetic and career minded individuals that they can invest in for the future and who have the potential to grow into positions of authority within their business.
