Key Account Managers required for expanding Wholesale Bakery business homebased. This field sales role will involve developing new business and account managing a portfolio of exisiting accounts with local bakeries, retail stores and wholesalers.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will have total autonomy in the role, with responsibility for designated sales targets and portfolio growth, enabling you to run your ledger area profitably effectively ensuring development of your customer base and an increase in growth and distribution.
To manage a customer territory of 140 accounts to deliver agreed targets of budgeted Gross Margin, Sales Volume and Customer and Product Mix. This is to be achieved through managing existing customers and prospecting and converting new Business Opportunities whilst also achieving agreed cash targets relating to credit terms.
You will be required to take a strategic approach to the role, developing strong long term relationships and building customer partnerships. Dealing with decision makers on all levels, you will be a very confident and skilled presenter and negotiator.
An excellent networker you will have a keen eye for identifying and creating opportunities in existing clients.
You will have the support and backup of a highly dedicated, effective and company-focused team who will support you in all area's to ensure that you have all the support and tools necessary to succeed. This is a superb opportunity for the successful candidate.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales in FMCG
- Proven experience and success in area sales management / field sales / account manager
- Ideally experience of selling into target market.
- Strong new business and account management skills.
- Strong relationship builder, internal and external customers
- Highly resilient, charismatic and outgoing.
- Strong confidence levels.
- Based in the Scotland , ideally must live in region.
