New Chapter Consulting is working alongside a fantastic business in their search for an Operations Manager - but don't read too much into the job title, as this is a role with a difference as I am searching for someone ideally from a foodservice or retail operations background. Our client is a market leader in their field and is seeking someone with the ambition to match theirs.

You will report directly to the Managing Director and will be tasked with getting the best out of a team of 5 direct reports.

Responsibilities

  • Facilities Management
  • Setting and adhering to the budget
  • Fulfilling sales orders
  • Manage sampling of products produced & despatching to customers
  • Forecasting
  • IT Management
  • Developing the customer relations
  • Managing a team of 5 direct reports
  • Liaising with partnered manufacturers to ensure production plans are met

Profile

  • Degree educated
  • Supply chain or logistics experience
  • Literate on a variety of IT packages
  • People management experience
  • Knowledge of Food Service
  • Problem solver
  • Attention to detail
  • Organised and methodical
  • Fantastic internal and external stakeholder management skills

This role is for a 12 month fixed term contract so would ideally suit someone looking for an exciting role to kick-start their career.
