Operations Manager – 12 Month Contract

The Role:

Redhill Recruitment Ltd are working with a Food Production Company to recruit for an Operations Manager to cover Maternity, this is a 12 Month Contract.

Reporting to the company Managing Director, you will be managing a team of 5 employees in the Operations Department to ensure the smooth running of the company supply chain.

The right candidate for this role will be able to lead and manage teams, with experience in Supply Chain or logistics within a Food / Foodservice environment.  You will also be educated to degree level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fulfil sales orders to 97%
• Ensure stock value is below target set in budget
• Forecasting & Production Planning
• Manage sampling of all products produced
• Productivity improvements
• Facilities Management including setting and adhering to budget
• IT Management including setting and adhering to budget
• Manage despatch of samples orders to potential customers
• Development of Customer Relationships
• Project work such as staff development or IT system development
