Job Details

A leading food business based in the South East is seeking an Account Controller for Own Brand foods within their grocery channel. The role can be 2 – 3 days in the office, and own brand sales experience is essential. This is a high level strategic role and will initially manage a small team with the aim to grow it within the first year to 18 months.

Key responsibilities:

Develop the annual sales plan that achieves company and customers expectations

Work with customer to develop new products that meet the shoppers needs

Actively develop new business across the channel

Have a strong product understanding of the end to end supply chain

Manage account P&L’s aligned to annual objectives

Plan and implement new listings and manage existing product lines

Manage and develop a small team

This role is part of the senior leadership team so requires someone who can operate at this and board level. The exposure is huge so gravitas is needed as well as strong strategic account management & development experience. Own brand product experience is essential, and ideally candidates must have grocery channel exposure.
