Job Details

A leading FMCG food business based in the Midlands is seeking a bright and talented category marketing manager to add to their highly successful sales & marketing team. The vacancy has arisen due to expansion and continuous growth. 

The purpose of the role is to develop the category relationship by providing them with category & shopper focused insight and building a long-term category development plan encompassing all of the category drivers. Also, to continue to develop, tailor and implement the category & in-store vision for the product whilst also developing NPD ideas.

You will also work collaboratively with the cross-functional selling team to understand category and customer threats and opportunities, and build plans to realise growth.

Previous expeirence in category management from an FMCG supplier is essentiial as well as a strong analytical nature but also excellent communication skills. Candidates will be adept at using excel and or database systems and have a passion for the FMCG sector.

The role will be office and customer based.
