Job Details

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior National Account Manager at a leading branded food business based in the north west. 

The business has recently benefitted from huge growth through acquisition and organic development. They aim to be the main supplier in their field and their strategy reflects this; on- boarding for new positions has started and is a major priority.

As a Senior National Account Manager, reporting into the sales controller, your responsibilities will be to:

-          Achieve revenue, volume and profit targets for the grocery account

-          Create and implement relevant account strategies in line with overall brand and company objectives

-          Collaborate directly with the category team to deliver the category vision.

-          Management and delivery of relevant projects

-          Successful offer & delivery of Brand Champion role (or similar)

-          Ensure thorough commercial administration practices are maintained for the grocery account

-          Ensure internal forecasting and reporting accuracy for the account is of highest standard

-          Provide support and coaching for junior members of account management team and field sales team

Previous experience as a NAM or SNAM or retail buying background is essential ideally from the branded food sector but any consumer FMCG business will be considered. A strong commercial acumen and an ability to work autonomously with a strong drive and entrepreneurial nature is essential.
