Job Title: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER IN FOODSERVICE
Job Purpose: To win and develop new business with Catering Operators in the Greater London area.
The Company: Our Client is a fast-growing specialist providing a top-quality service to a wide range of Catering establishments throughout the UK. The business has built its reputation on reliable, consistent service, with real attention to detail. Customers include a diverse range of well-known operators in the High Street, Hotels and Functions & Banqueting and in Workplace catering.
The Role: The Job-holder will be responsible for delivering profitable new business in the London area. The successful candidate will report directly into the Commercial Director.
The role is field-based and the Job-holder must reside within the M25.
The Job-holder will:
- Develop a plan for the territory that will drive sales with both Independent Caterers and Group Operators (agreed with the Commercial Director).
- Be responsible for the territory sales and margin budget.
- Initiate and develop sound trading relationships with key influencers and decision-makers.
The Candidate: To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Experience and a real understanding of the Foodservice market.
- A genuine passion to work with Caterers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and be highly computer literate.
- The role would suit a graduate calibre candidate.
- A full current UK driving license.
- And finally, enthusiasm, ambition and resourcefulness!
