If you are customer driven, organised and an excellent communicator with experience within the butchery trade - this may be the role for you. We are currently recruiting for a Butcher to join our team in Elgin. As a Butcher you will have good product knowledge, cutting and preparation skills, and offer high standards of customer service. You will be able to prepare orders to customer's needs and have a good understanding of stock control processes and comply with health, safety and legal standards at all times.
Working as part of a small team you may also be responsible for running the department in the Butchery Manager's absence and work in our other fresh departments covering Fruit and Veg, Chilled and Dairy products. We will consider taking on a candidate with little Butchery experience who has the right attitude, is willing to learn and wishes to develop a career in this area by training through our in-house Butchery Training programme. This is a full time role. Please note that we are a 7-day operation and therefore offer a variety of flexible working patterns to fit personal circumstances and support work and family demands whilst meeting the needs of the business and our customers.
