Buckley's London specialise in costume and fashion jewellery, and have an enviable track record of generating profitable revenues in their chosen markets.

They now have ambitious plans to significantly grow the business, and will have doubled their revenue, and trebled their profits by 2017.

They have identified key markets from which they will achieve this growth, they have developed a robust strategic plan to underpin and maximise the known potential, and they are investing in key personnel to help deliver their growth ambitions.

Requirements:

We are looking to attract high calibre candidates who have a blend of skills, experience, hunger and potential alongside the following requirements:

  • Experienced in working with global accounts and familiarity with global travel.
  • Language skills would be advantageous for liaison with global accounts.
  • An understanding of the Travel Retail market / High Street Retail market and be highly competent at researching organisations and opportunities.
  • Retail experience with multiple luxury brands.
  • Highly developed merchandising skills.
  • Well educated preferably with a business, sales or marketing related degree.  
  • Highly competent at researching organisations and opportunities.

About the role:

We have opportunities for Key Account Managers to work within both our High Street Retail and Travel Retail departments. You will be accountable for retaining and developing business contracts and increasing the product range sold through the retail outlets. Your other responsibilities will include the following:

  • Pro-actively account managing existing and new retail customers, directly and through agents and distributors.
  • Developing strong business relationships with all the key personnel within individual customers’ businesses.
  • Increasing growth, market share and margin of a pre-defined geographical area by converting retail prospects.
  • Managing allocated agents and distributors in the Buckley London supply chain.
  • Identifying a list of target companies that do not use Buckley London as their major Costume and Fashion Jewellery supplier and present meaningful propositions that enable conversion.
  • Travelling globally to attend face-to-face customer meetings, as justified.

About you:

You must be able to focus on the achievement of financial targets and views issued in terms of costs, profits, markets and added values. Customer centric, you will be good at opening doors, particularly at senior level and be capable and comfortable with dealing with senior people over the telephone and face to face. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills that gain respect from all customers, agents and distributors and internal people at all levels would be advantageous.
