Job Details

The successful Brand Manager will be heavily involved with new product development, Innovation and Global Brand Strategy. Established working relationships with major retail companies would be ideal.

 

 

THE COMPANY 

 

 

The company is a fast growing cosmetics and hair care company looking to grow globally. They are dynamic and fast paced and offer great personal development prospects. 

 

 

 

THE ROLE 

 

  • The ideal candidate will have quite a full marketing mix, looking to specialise in Brand.
  • The commercially driven candidate will be goal orientated and take complete ownership of the brand.
  • The Brand manager will be responsible for new product development and brand strategy.
  • The Brand Manager will be pitching to major UK retail companies, so previous retail experience would be advisable.
  • PR and advertising campaign management would be beneficial.
  • Create and report upon a deliverable ATL & BTL strategy
  • Develop frameworks for brand policing and competitor monitoring
  • Work with digital marketing executive to monitor online & social performance vs expenditure
  • Create reports on all activities and projects for Senior Management
  • Create collateral, merchandising and sales tools with Graphic Design
  • Communicate with external agencies to create broadcast advertising content

 

 

 

THE PERSON 

 

 

  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills (both written and oral)
  • A strategic mindset and broad business perspective
  • A talent for organisation, project and time management
  • The right balance of creativity and pragmatism
  • Financial acumen both to remain within budget, and obtain the most from that budget
  • Expertise in advertising both directly and via advertising agencies
  • Significant brand and marketing experience, ideally but not essentially within Health & Beauty
