Job Details
My client is an extremely well known food manufacturer with both a branded and private label portfolio. They have recently introduced a new and updated range of innovative products to the market place and are amongst the most recognised brands in the UK and have firmly established themselves as one of the leaders within their categories. We are now searching for a Senior National Account Manager to take full responsibility for a Top 4 multiple Grocer account. This role may suit an ambitious NAM or a Senior National Account Manager looking for a fresh challenge. Top 4 Grocer experience is a must but that could be from any category. There is plenty of scope for your own personal development within this role.
The Role:
- Overall P & L and forecasting responsibility for a significant Top 4 Grocer account across the branded and private label portfolio.
- Management and development of the trading and category relationships at higher level to optimise performance of the category.
- Production and implementation of the annual JBP.
- High degree of cross functional working with; Marketing, Category, NPD and Supply Chain.
- An understanding and insight into Category Management principles.
- The ability to think commercially and strategically at a high level.
The Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will be a SNAM or a NAM with Top 4 Grocer experience from either a food or beverages background.
- A proven track record of successful account management and growth within your accounts.
- Educated to degree level or the equivalent.
- Ideally both branded and private label product experience.
- Prior experience of managing a P & L.
- Strong commercial and analytical skills.
- Highly confident presenter and skilled negotiator.
- Office based role in West Yorkshire.
