Job Title: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER IN FOODSERVICE & CONVENIENCE
Job Purpose: To win and develop business with Catering and Retail Convenience Outlets in a defined Territory in South Wales and Bristol area.
The Company: Our Client is a major chilled distributor with depots throughout the country. It is experiencing strong growth and expanding its business base dramatically. This is a great time to join and contribute to further expansion.
The Role: The Job-holder will be responsible for delivering profitable new business in the South Wales/Bristol area, while developing sales to an existing customer base. The successful candidate will report to the Business Development Director.
The role is field-based and the Job-holder must reside within the Territory described.
The Job-holder will:

Develop a plan for the territory that will drive sales with Independent Caterers and Retailers as well as Regional Chains.

Be responsible for the territory sales and margin budget.

Initiate and develop sound trading relationships with key influencers and decision-makers.
The Candidate: To be successful in this role, you must have:

Experience of the Foodservice and Convenience markets; ideally with chilled products.

A genuine passion to work with Caterers and Independent Retailers.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

The role would suit a graduate calibre candidate.

A full current UK driving license.
