Our client is the UK’s Brand leader within one of the fastest growing food categories within the UK. This is an entrepreneurial fast paced business and forms part of an international food group which is one of the UK’s most prominent players. They have an excellent reputation for uncompromising quality, ethical practices and entrepreneurship.

Role

This is an exciting and hands on role working with a high profile brand that is recognised internationally. As a Brand Manager the key role will be to take ownership and responsibility for a fast-growing product portfolio, achieving the tactical and strategic objectives of the marketing function and company as a whole. This role will provide the opportunity to develop a wide variety of skills across the whole marketing mix including shopper marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for the product portfolio from developing the marketing plan through to implementation
• Providing insights and strategic direction for the range and company
• Budget Responsibility
• Manage and train Assistant Brand Manager
• Close relationship with the Sales team to ensure consumer and trade messages are integrated efficiently
• Manage launch of NPD with the trade – from presentation through to in-store support
• Performance/ KPI tracking and updates to board members
• Range-specific marketing communications across multiple platforms incl. PR and online

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will have a number of years’ experience in a brand management role preferably from an FMCG-Food background but other FMCG background would be consider if you have a love of food.

You will need to be commercially minded as although this is a large global company they operate at an entrepreneurial level and the successful candidate will be heavily involved in decision making and driving the branding forward.
