Description
This Discounter National Account Manager vacancy is a development role as it offers excellent career progression and exposure within this FMCG organisation.You will be responsible for
* Account Management of key discounter customers:
* Development and implementation of Value strategy and business plan for this FMCG business
* Evaluating and maximising account profitability for each key customer. Driving NSV and increased profitability in the Value channel.
* Management of terms and discretionary trade spend across the accounts.
* Planning of all product volumes and trade spend for customers.
* Contribute to the performance of the Value Channel and wider Impulse Sector through challenging the status quo and sharing best practice and ideas with the wider team.
* Main point of contact for European hard discounter team, help to shape European strategy with hard discounters
* Work with the European buying team at your accounts to establish the right range for the UK stores.

Profile
The successful discounter national account manager will have
* Trading experience in FMCG with a challenging account * Computer Literate
* Knowledge of discount Sector (not essential)
* Negotiation Skills
* Priority Setting
* Presentation Skills
* Ideally degree educated
