Job Details
Our client is a highly successful specialist food importing business, servicing the retail, wholesale and food service industries. We are looking for an experienced National Account Manager with branded Top 4 experience to look after some of their key retail accounts from their North London office.
The Role:
- Managing two of the company’s key retail accounts (top 4)
- Looking after the branded product range (no own label)
- Developing and implementing sales and marketing plan for accounts.
- Day to day management and administration associated with a portfolio
- Formulating annual budgets plus monthly and quarterly forecasts.
- Negotiating trading terms and plans.
- Promotional planning, negotiation and evaluation.
- Price file management.
- Sales forecasting.
- Managing and negotiating product introductions and delists.
The Candidate:
- Will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in a similar role with a top 4 client (Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Sainsburys)
- Will have strong branded experience
- Will have an excellent track record of increasing profit margins with existing key accounts
- Will have excellent problem solving skills
- Will have excellent communication skills
- Will bring a strong work ethic and drive to the role
