Calling all National Account Managers!

Our client is a top performing and pioneering company, whose chilled dairy product has exploded within the recent years making them leaders of their category. They are an exciting and passionate bunch, with their wholehearted and dedicated culture being the forefront of their success. In line, with their continuing wins they are looking for a National Account Manager to take responsibility for their wholesale channels. This role will give the successful candidate huge amounts of exposure in not only building long lasting relationships but in launching new products into untouched markets and establishing the brand with new players.

This role will begin as a 12 month interim opportunity with the view to develop into a permanent role. The main purpose of the role is to develop profitable sales with key customers through effective strategy development and execution, to drive profit with customers through revenue growth, margin enhancement and innovation and to gain listings into key accounts.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the role will involve:

  • Channel and customer strategy development
  • Contribution to / profitability of accounts
  • Negotiations of trade terms for channel and accounts
  • Management and co-ordination of national account customers within the wholesale channel including:
  • Monitoring and presentation of sales performance
  • Annual sales planning
  • Sales forecast
  • Overseeing customer complaints
  • Management of trade promotional activity

As a person, our client is looking for a talented individual with experience of managing major Out of Home accounts, ideally having worked with chilled/dairy products or short shelf life products. Experience within leading branded food and drinks business will add to your success. The successful candidate will be required to be in the office circa two to 3 days a weeks. Travel with overnight stays may be required on occasion.
