This is a brand new and exciting role that has just been established in order to support the retailer's Merchandising team.

Your responsibilities as a Merchandising Manager include, but are not limited to:
  • Working with the merchandising team at a major retailer to understand the timeframe and deadlines for the category data objectives
  • Communicating with the company's internal teams to make sure that the data necessities are conveyed correspondingly
  • Full responsibility for the circulation of final delivery to relevant stakeholders within the retailer
  • Working with end users across the business to explain the data and the key insights which are determined
  • Providing assistance to the retailer's merchandising team with queries from additional business stakeholders
  • Full ownership of issue management as well as resolution
  • Providing support with ad hoc tasks that are prompted by the data presented
  • Taking the lead in developing a service to make sure that it remains applicable for the account




In order to be an outstanding Merchandising Manager:

  • A meticulous approach to detail
  • Articulate - must be an excellent communicator (both verbally and written)
  • A great ability to work well under a lot of pressure
  • Fantastic organisational capabilities
  • The ability to work effectively within a team
  • Technologically capable - be able to pick up new software systems and processes
  • Pro-actively suggesting improvements to current procedures and systems' processes
  • Ideally have around 3 years' experience in a data/client service setting
