My client is looking for a strong Buyer to join the team in the Bakery category.

This role heavily involves developing own label and new ranges, and would be a good match for a Buyer who has a passion for food, and takes a strong interest in the product.  

The Buyer will be responsible for:

• Sourcing and developing new items for the own label range
• Analysing and reviewing promotional plans
• Planning, negotiating and delivering the trading budgets
• Driving category growth
• Identifying next step innovations for both new and existing products.

Key Skills Required are:

• Grocery, manufacture or foodservice experience
• Significant record of producing own label goods
• Knowledge of marketing concepts
• Strong commercial acumen
• Ability to and manage cross functional team
