A Category Manager position has arisen within the Marketing team working on our Waitrose account with a key focus on our Convenience categories, primarily Sliced Cooked Meat.  You will report into the Head of Insight for Dalehead Foods and work closely with the commercial team responsible for these categories.

You will be a confident, innovative, approachable and extremely customer focused individual, with solid communication skills. It is essential that you already have experience working within an FMCG category management chilled food environment. Ideally you will have experience working on a premium retailer account with your main focus being to directly influence their plans.

In addition you will have lots of energy and enthusiasm with experience interpreting a range of data sources, including kantar. Using insight and your ability to analyze and interpret market data you will be able to drive category growth with actionable recommendations and solutions. Your excellent presentation skills and influencing skills will support your success.

You will have great organizational skills, be able to pay great attention to detail working consistently whilst under pressure within a challenging environment and be confident using excel, word and PowerPoint. This exciting role will require a degree of flexibility as it will be based from Corsham but will also involve significant travel to Bracknell, the head office for Waitrose, as well as to other sites within the division.
