An exciting opportunity for a Marketing Executive has developed with one of the UK’s leading award winning, independently owned food business of ambient products. My client distributes a variety of own label and branded ambient products to all the major retailers and foodservice customers. Their turnover is in excess of £60 million and they are continually growing year on year. Following on from a period of growth they are now looking to add a passionate and gifted young marketer to their sales and marketing team.

Role

As Marketing Executive you will work closely with the Customer Insights Manager and sales team on the businesses branded products, as well as working with suppliers and retailers on a their own label portfolio –

• Manage all marketing for the company and marketing activities within the Sales and Marketing department.
• Create relevant and effective marketing material and coordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities.
• Maintain effective communications to ensure that all relevant departments are kept informed of marketing objectives and activities.
• Liaise and network with existing and potential customers and suppliers.
• Devise and present ideas and strategies to develop the company brand and reputation.
• Work with the Sales team in the production of ongoing competitor analysis and reporting with particular reference to pricing, presentation and promotion of each product.
• Work closely with the Category Insight Manager to research, analyse and review data to present findings and recommendations.
• Produce presentations and communications material for sales meetings and client visits.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will be a 2.1 graduate in marketing or similar with experience in a marketing role, (a university placement year will be considered) from an FMCG background – preferably Food. You will have a genuine passion for marketing with clear personal goals and objectives for your future career. Additionally, strong creative and analytical skills will be valuable as well as excellent communication skills.
