Our client is a real success story within FMCG; a UK headquartered privately owned group with instantly recognisable brands and one which is extremely acquisitive, and they have successfully acquired a unique platform for growth.
They are now looking for a Business Unit Director, to lead their sales activities within Coles Supermarkets, Aldi and Costco, reporting to the local Managing Director.
This is an exciting and extremely broad ranging role giving you considerable autonomy and scope to ensure continued sales and margin growth. This individual will not only be responsible for driving sales but also for helping to create & drive the company’s strategy and help lead the company into the future. The focus is on building the performance of their brands, driving NPD and delighting both consumers and customers.
An excellent communicator, you will have a track record of considerable commercial success within a branded FMCG organisation. You have delivered real growth on major brands and developed and implemented successful brand strategies. You are used to developing close relationships with retailers. You must also have excellent people and customer skills, and a total commitment to the organisation’s values is essential.
You will have a track record of delivering real results and have developed successful JBPs with the major UK multiples. You are capable of working at pace and leading multiple projects at any one time. You understand how to be a growing business whilst remaining small.
