To manage the Independent, Consortia & Key Account Sales Operations teams ensuring all service and cost KPI’s are achieved.  To set the strategic direction and ensure delivery of all Price Increases, Pricing Contract Management, Sales & Margin Reports and oversee the development of systems to drive efficiencies to processes.


Main responsibilities


  • The provision of accurate sales and margin data to the sales management team through the ownership of the data management processes required to assist in the delivery of  budgeted sales, sales margins, trading margin & contribution to EBITA

  • Implementation and maintenance of a robust management process for the review of costs and expenditure on a monthly basis to enable to the control of costs to an agreed budget (£1.6m this year)

  • Recruitment, development and performance management of Sales Ops management team, total team of 85 people.

  • Manage end-to-end price inflation process ensuring robust processes are in place to deliver the execution of price changes on time.  Liaise with Purchasing teams to agree timelines and senior sales management to agree execution plans.

  • Monitoring price inflation pass through by tracking the status of price reviews against BUD’s execution plans for customers managed via the PRS system.  Performing validation checks to ensure successful implementation of the automatic price pass through programmes for Independent.

  • Develop systems by liaising with IS in order to benefit from the best software solutions available to provide cost & process efficiencies.

  • Lead cross-functional business improvement projects to ensure we continue to deliver excellent service to customers & sales and provide continuous improvement to systems and processes.
