The Opportunity

This opportunity is the perfect platform for a national sales role in the future. Here, you’ll take ownership of your region and provide visible leadership to your team. Ensuring that we maintain outstanding relationships with wholesalers and other corporate clients, you’ll explore new ways to capitalise on commercial opportunities, enhance sales and drive profitability.

You will implement agreed business development plans, then engage, inspire and motivate your team to deliver outstanding sales performance on a daily basis. McCain is a global success story with a clear vision of how we grow our business – so you’ll have the support and direction to really make an impact. In the UK, we’re best known for our potato products such McCain Home Chips and McCain Wedges. But worldwide, we offer hundreds of other products, such as appetizers, pizza, vegetables, beverages, ready meals and desserts – so the scope to grow clients is exciting and wide-ranging.

The person

Of course, you’ll need to come here with an exceptional track record of leading, coaching and developing a high-performing sales team, ideally gained with FMCG. You’ll be able to provide visible, influential and client-focused account management, supported by a really clear understanding of how to maintain customer satisfaction, build strong relationships and achieve objectives as a team. You’ll share knowledge, empower individuals, cultivate a climate of teamwork, support and continuous improvement.
