The Role:
The Category Insight Manager will play an integral part in the development of the 3 year channel strategy of both gum and confection categories. Using first class insights and customer understanding, you will be the internal voice of the shopper and a first point of call for the marketing/sales teams.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Owning and delivering major insight briefs internally, working across agencies to deliver the so-what and now-what for the UK organisation.
- Work alongside the Category Deployment Manager on Perfect Store “picture of success”
- Developing Pack, Pricing/Promotions business initiatives, with specific responsibility for developing the fact based insights.
- Responsibility for delivering actionable insight projects that feed into innovation planning, working alongside Category Deployment Manager, Marketing & Finance.
- Manage and lead all 3rd party data agency relationships, step
- Responsible for developing and ensuring adoption of new and improved category tools for the business, working to strengthen category analysis and insight capabilities
- Own the development & tracking of Total Front End category insights.
The candidate
This role will suit someone with proven success within a branded FMCG environment.
