Category Manager (9-12 month Contract)

The Role:

As the Category Manager, you will be working on delivering fact based insights and recommendations to achieve step change category performance in your customers. You will work alongside the customer account team to ensure our category and commercial strategies are complementary and that they can evolve to meet the ever changing needs of our customers and their shoppers.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Lead the category management agenda with the customer, driving of data from insight to action focus.
  • Working alongside all areas of Customer Marketing, with particular focus on the customers’ business and its shopper.
  • Providing support to ensure that the category management function delivers against the UK business objectives.
  • Driving your own personal network of key customer
  • Being perceived by the customer as the category leadership personality
  • Category Vision & Strategic intent communicated and embedded to the customer
  • Completing key category projects with the customer, including category reviews, category presentations and leading category initiatives.
  • Optimise in-store executions to maximize sales and profit for Wrigley and our customers
  • Support key internal strategic projects as defined by Sales Leadership Team
  • Liaise with Mars Chocolate counterparts to ensure best practice sharing

The candidate
