Key Account Manager – Furniture/Home Furnishings

An opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly growing business in the consumer goods industry renowned for manufacturing stylish, design-led furniture for the home. The company have achieved consistent growth over the last 5 years, meeting all company goals and over achieving profit targets. Our client has established a strong portfolio of retail customers across the UK including leading department stores and furniture outlets. Due to expansion the business are now in a position to recruit a Key Account Manager to join their team and aid ambitious growth plans.

As Key Account Manager you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts already established by the current team. The customer base you will manage is likely to include accounts such as House of Fraser, John Lewis, SCS and Laura Ashley amongst others. Reporting into the Sales Director you will need to liaise with key stakeholders in the business to grow the existing account base with an element of new business development, you must represent the brand in line with the strategic plans of the company.

In order to be considered for this exciting opportunity you must have Key/National account experience ideally from within the furniture industry or a closely related market such as home furnishings or homewares. It would be helpful if you have dealt with similar accounts to those listed above and can bring across relevant contacts. You may currently be a Key or National Account Manager working within the furniture industry open to a new challenge with a growing company that can offer further career development. You must have credibility, integrity and the ability to work well as part of a team in order to be successful.
