PR & Digital Media Manager / Marketing Executive - Spirits

As the world’s biggest independent Gin brand, our client is a shining example of a business which has really harnessed the opportunities arising from the current boom in the category. Now with a presence in 55 countries across the globe, the business is growing rapidly – not surprisingly given that their premium product is the world’s most awarded Gin. The team’s strong entrepreneurial spirit and clear drive for excellence is taking the category by storm and they are now seeking a Marketing Executive to join them on their journey.  

With a particular focus on PR and digital activity, including social media management across a variety of platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.), you will be responsible for developing and executing much of the brand’s BTL marketing activity. This is a hands-on role in a lean team and as such, you will be expected to get stuck in across the board, gaining a broad experience across events, sponsorship and website management. For example, you may be;

• Working closely with the CEO and Brand Manager in the implementation of marketing strategies and brand activity plans
• Writing, editing and publishing content on the company website and ensuring the content is accurate, up to date and emitting the correct tone of voice in line with brand values
• Coming up with innovative ideas for competitions to drive brand awareness and ROS – recent implementations have included organising trips abroad for some of the top industry journalists
• Scoping out key complimentary premium brands across sectors such as fashion and leisure, to develop exciting partnerships and events with
• Researching current trends in the market across both the On and Off Trade and developing initiatives to leverage these

Candidates must be degree educated and have 2-3 years of marketing focused experience within a branded FMCG business. Drinks or luxury brand experience is seen as an advantage. You will be able to demonstrate a good level of creative ability and a strong understanding of how best to utilise social media to enhance a brand. A confident, outgoing personality, you will be a proactive self-starter with a keenness to help out at all levels, whether that be setting up at trade events or accompanying the sales team to client facing pitches. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are key attributes for this role. You must also be comfortable working both independently and in a team. If this sounds like you, apply here!
