Key Account Director - FMCG

£45k - £55k p.a. plus Bonus (OTE 70k) + Benefits

As an Key Account Director you will be responsible for:
  • Develop relationships with top tier FMCG businesses within your network to ensure that the business has a strong pipeline of potential new customers;
  • Work closely with current customers to ensure they are receiving exceptional ROI for their investment and that their brands are gaining greater exposure through social media channels;
  • Having a deep rooted understanding of how the communications capabilities of the business can add value and meets client expectations;
  • Manage activity pipeline from proposal to delivery stage and track and mitigate issues as and when they arise;
  • Giving daily support to senior management and targeted communication to do with Entrance Gates, Trolley Media, Couponing, Direct Mail and Email marketing to name a few
  • Ensure timely delivery of campaigns to your clients - within agree budget and timescales
  • Providing daily status updates, reporting on campaign performance and identifying areas for future investment based on campaign evaluations


To be successful in this role you must:
  • Be well networked within the FMCG community either within digital, mobile, CRM or insights;
  • Have sound knowledge of shopper, trade, direct , in store and digital marketing practises ideally within FMCG/retail
  • Be of graduate calibre;
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and liaising with individuals across various levels
  • Ability to work with budgets
  • Excellent attention to detail and written skills
