Job Details
Our client is FTSE 250 leading FMCG manufacturing business with a strong presence within the food sectors. A core operating division now has an excellent position available for a Commercial Manager to handle their Co-op business, a growth account for the business. This role will suit a well-developed National Account Manager with at least 2 years trading experience and who is ambitious to develop and advance their career.
Core elements of the role
- Develop and implement the JBP with the customer, turnover value c£15m in line with the NPD, Innovation, Category, Promotional and TM Plans.
- Establish and develop all relationships with the Co-op (both Internal and external)
- Deliver and exceed budgeted sales and contribution targets
- Lead the account across the manufacturing sites
- Be an active contributor to the grocery function and a high potential recruit
Essential experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in a grocery trading role within a strong FMCG business
- Commercial switched on, business minded and well balanced
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a first class relationship builder
- Financially numerate with a good ability to analyse and interpret data to spot trends and opportunities.
- Outgoing, enthusiastic will a good attitude.
