My client is the largest manufacturer of frozen food products in the UK, with a current turnover of around £400m. They are the leading players in their category, and have experienced huge growth in recent years. As a business, they have a large portfolio of products targeted across all consumers, made with top quality ingredients which has contributed to their success. This is a privately owned business, so there is a real family feel culture and they pride themselves on their core values. They have won 10 Grocer awards over the past 10 years, and are scored 2nd across the food industry for customer satisfaction. The business is dedicated to developing its staff, so there are strong progression opportunities on offer. Due to an internal promotion, they are looking to add a Senior National Account Manager to their team.
As Senior National Account Manager, you will be responsible for £75m worth of business with Tesco across the whole product portfolio, with one direct report. Reporting into the Business Unit Controller, you will be the first point of contact and will be expected to grow and develop the account which is currently the largest across the business. You will be expected to use your excellent relationship building skills in order to make a quick impact with buyers, and also use your commercial and analytical abilities to help drive sales and profitability.
To be considered for this role, you must be a results driven individual with a strong background in an FMCG food business. Experience managing Tesco is desirable, however any top 4 experience would be considered. You must be commercially astute, results orientated and the ability to thrive under pressure. Brand or own label experience would be considered.
