Commercial Director - Major Multiples

Our client is a leading FMCG business, operating to a very high standard with significant relationships within the grocery trade.  A new position has been created within the structure to lead and coordinate all commercial activities across the businesses core categories, c£350m. You will lead a first class commercial team of ten to achieve and exceed budget and profit.

Core elements of the role

• The deliver the sales strategy including growth, innovation and collaboration
• The development of your team to ensure all business demands are met
• Guidance and leadership of your team
• To contribute as part of a senior executive board
• To work effectively with other core business functions, NPD, Innovation & Marketing

Essential experience

• An excellent track record of commercial leadership within the FMCG sectors
• At least 10 years’ experience in managing senior level grocery relationships
• Experience of Brands and Private label ideally
• Exceptional communication skills
• Exceptional analytical, negotiation and presentation skills
• Can effectively manage change at pace and remain balanced and consistent
• Can think differently and evidence an innovative approach
• Is career minded, professional and down to earth
