As one of the major players in their category, my client holds a brilliant range of brands and has fantastic success in recent years. They have grown from just under £500m to over £1.5bn in 4 years, and are constantly expanding their product offerings by innovating and acquiring other businesses.  As a business, they have a fantastic working culture and due to their factories being local decisions are made much quicker. Their strength in brands makes negotiation easier, and the momentum behind the brands makes for maximum sales. They have big plans for the future involving moving into different product ranges, and the ambition to become the biggest player in their category. Due to internal promotion, they are looking for a National Account Manager to join their team.

As National Account Manager you will manage one of the top four grocery accounts. Your role will involve the negotiation of all annual business, working with your customer contacts to create joint business plans for the benefit of both your business and your account. Whilst developing the core range distribution you will also introduce new products to the portfolio and work with both the internal team and your account to create desirable products for the market. Full profit and loss accountability will be a large part of this role as will the management of the promotional plan.

To be considered for this role, you must have a background with leading blue chip companies on a branded product. You must have first class negotiation skills and be able to influence at a senior level both internally and externally. On top of this it is essential that you have the drive to succeed and are looking to make the next step in your career with a globally recognised brand. You must be commutable to the office 3 days a week.
