The Company

My client is a major European Meat Specialist - based in the UK. With a strong reputation for quality, our client is able to drive supply-chain efficiencies and a competitive offering as a ‘Farm to Fork’ supplier across Beef, Lamb & Pork. Looking forwards, strong growth is expected due to major investment in the Pork production side of this business. With increased and extensive capacity in place, the business has seen tremendous growth in its retail business and is now looking to Foodservice and B2B trading channels as new vehicles for growth.

The Role

As a business manager for the Foodservice & Sales division, you will be hands on in developing new business, sustaining this and working closely with your sites to ensure a quality end-to-end offering. Maximising existing and developing new relationships with the senior buying teams for major food manufacturers, foodservice and export customers will secure growth through partnership. You will be on the road and in front of customer a huge amount of the time and will have a huge amount of autonomy to drive your business as you see necessary.

The Person

You will already be a National Account Manager, with extensive experience of trading with the meat sector with B2B customers and ideally foodservice. With an exceptional track record of growing you accounts, you will have no problem with negotiating price and selling the benefits of your employers ‘farm to fork’ credentials. A knowledge of European export markets would also be preferable.
