Job Details

We are looking for an experienced and sharp Business Development Manager to continue the excellent growth of a well-established and well respected gourmet importer. Due to the high quality nature of the product, you will build a portfolio of high end restaurants, gastro pubs and upper end delis.

The Role:

  • Initially taking on a small portfolio, you will be responsible for building a high yielding client base of around 50 customers (delis, restaurants and pubs)
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships within London’s restaurant scene
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Visiting customers and continuously promoting the company in a positive light

The Candidate:

  • Will have a minimum of four years of experience in selling into foodservice clients
  • Will have strong experience in selling gourmet products (ideally Mediterranean, or at least with a knowledge of this area)
  • Will have an excellent reputation within the industry
  • Will have a strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Will have outstanding personal presentation and communication skills
