The Company:

The Role:

In this role, you will responsible for developing and maintain key partnerships enabling delivery to be ahead of competitor as well as delivering first class insights. You will report into the a Senior Category Team Member working across come of the most successful brands within the business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a full Category Management service to strategic customers, ensuring category and shopper insights evolve into deliverable in-store executions.  
  • Develop consumer & shopper insights into clear trade messages and recommendations for both internal & external customers
  • Input into the range review process with strategic retail partners from presentation to implementation. Support category team leader with data insights to deliver recommendations into retail partners.
  • Provide category/brand/customer insights that enhance business understanding and deliver quantifiable benefits to both our brand and channel strategies.

 

  • Appropriate influence in NPD process, ensuring all operational and on shelf impact considerations are communicated
  • Produce range & merchandising recommendations for modular based channels. Update & communicate twice per year.
  • Input into key business processes, eg budget meeting and strategy meeting etc.
  • Build and maintain relationships with strategic UK retailer customer to influence category development in line with  company category strategy and brands
  • Relationships with UK data providers to ensure conversion of data into actionable insights
  • Relationships with peers to: formulate category / customer / brand strategies deliver strategies into customers propose solutions for issues / opportunities arising from data analysis

The Ideal Candidate:

To be considered for this amazing opportunity, you will be of graduate caliber with a track record or delivering result within a commercial environment working to tight deadlines. You will have strong presenting skills with experience of using and analysing external continuous data such as Kantar and Dunnhumby
