Our client is a progressive and forward thinking specialist fresh produce business who are looking to recruit a procurement manager. We are looking for someone with good background of procurement, within a fresh produce category.

The Role:-
  • Responsible for a large and key product area within the businesses portfolio
  • Managing a number of supplier relationships around the world, ensuring product is bought at the best prices and quality
  • Developing long term relationships with the suppliers, enabling the business to work in a close partnership
  • Working closely with the commercial team in order to ensure sales plans are accurate and achievable



The Candidate:-
  • Must have a background in procurement within the fresh produce industry. Spanish speaking would be an advantage, but isn't essential.
  • Will possess good communication and organisational skills, in order to plan the seasonality of the products
  • Will have a good head for numbers and keen attention to detail
  • There will be a bit of weekend working on a rota (roughly 1 in 5)
