The Role
Your main focus will be to develop sales and profitability for one of their largest UK Brands.
Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- You will be commercially responsible for designated product portfolio thorough various global areas.
- You will devise and produce consumer and customer centric marketing plans i.e. brand positioning strategy, communications strategy, NPD strategy, pricing strategy, promotional strategy, distribution strategy, product strategy etc
- Presentation of the brand strategy, internally and externally.
- Form reports and analysis based on market and consumer data. Provide professional reports and recommendations internally and externally from the data.
- You will be responsible for the product portfolio, this may involve using the market information and internal sales data to recommend relevant actions, such as future promotions, de-lists, etc.
- Supervising and implementing the NPD process for European and International products in conjunction with other stakeholders.
- Produce the short, medium and long term business plans for the Products Business sector
- Develop, lead, direct, control & manage the development of direct report(s)
Professional Skills and Competencies
- Have a strong degree in either a marketing or business related topic.
- Experience of developing a relevant FMCG brand in the UK and on a Global basis and proven success in senior brand marketing environment.
- The desired candidate will also have the ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally will be a key part to your success, so you must be able to demonstrate a range of influencing styles and techniques.
- Demonstrate financial and commercial acumen and strategic thinking, be analytical and creative
- Confident and capable of operating at all levels
