Job Details
A leading chilled foods manufacturer; we represent a business that is experiencing impressive growth, 25% year on year. Supplying ASDA, Tesco, Morrison’s, Sainsbury’s and a broad list of Convenience and the Discount Channel. They are first to market with a number of new products, both branded and own label and are considered a pioneer within this innovation driven category. They are looking to further strengthen their commercial function and achieve circa £10m of new business growth by recruiting a commercial manager with relevant experience and a demonstrable background in new business development.
A developer of profitable customer partnerships and be used to working in innovation driven food sectors. You will support the Commercial Director and be responsible for commercial site business development across a broad list of existing customers. You will have complete responsibility for the development of new business working closely with customers and influencing category strategy. An integral part of the leadership team working alongside the account management team, you will have the previous experience that allows you to influence the direction of category agenda.
Used to building tailored plans within the retailer, you will enable continual growth and category success on the strength of the relationship with the customer. A previous background in a commercial role within chilled foods and exposure to ASDA, Tesco, JS, WMs or other retail channel is essential.
In summary the ideal candidate will provide direction in all new business developments and be integral to continued company growth, this opportunity for career advancement and personal development is only realistic for those with proven track records within the chilled top tier food retail sector.
